Department of Health

Tehotiiennawakon

Sectoral Agreement recognizes Akwesasne's jurisdiction over Environment and Regulations of Business.

Ahkwesahsne Mohawk Board of Education

Sectoral Agreement recognizes Akwesasne's jurisdiction over Early Years, K-12, Special needs, Adult Education, Language & Culture and

the Life Long Learning Model.

Department of Technical Services

Sectoral Agreement recognizes our jurisdiction over Public Works.

Executive Services

Government Secretariat

The Governance and Relationship Agreement which sets out the protection

of our Aboriginal rights, continuation of federal programs, relationship between our laws and the federal & provincial laws and our own system of governance.  Also

 included is the Financial Administration Law.

Department of Community and Social Services

Currently we are not negotiating in this area.  Development of Akwesasne based principles can begin to be developed for future Sectoral Agreements.

Department of Housing

Within the Sectoral

Agreement includes the Landlord and Tenant, Lands, Wills and Estates which may have an effect on housing.

Department of Justice

Currently we are negotiating in the Multi-Jurisdictional Table for the recognition of Mohawk Court.
