The Process and Schedule Agreement  was signed by former Grand Chief Angie Barnes and the Honorable Andy Scott, Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development on June 23, 2005.  It was amended and signed on August 29, 2011 by former Grand Chief Michael Kanentakeron Mitchell of Akwesasne and the Honorable John Duncan, Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development.  

This Agreement is a guide to establish the agenda, process, timeframes and scope of negotiations between the parties towards a Self-Government Agreement.
